To secure your reservation, you must return this form to ‘Oakley's’ along with the full deposit stated overleaf within 10 days from date on front of form.
All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable once received by ‘Oakley’s’.
Any balance owing to ‘Oakley’s’ must be paid in full prior to commencement of the journey.
The maximum legal number of passengers allowed to travel in our party buses will be advised on the front of the booking form.
‘Oakley’s’ reserves the right to refuse entry to any person deemed unfit to travel for any reason (e g intoxicated etc).
Oakley’s’ operates a “one strike and you’re out” policy. We expect all passengers to behave in a respectful manner of the party bus, crew members, and the general public.
Oakley’s’ reserve the right to refuse to continue with the journey if any person behaves in a manner that may be detrimental to others, crew members, or the party bus (e g if any person stands up on the seating areas). In this event, NO refund will be given.
Methods of Payment
‘Oakley's’ will accept payment by cash, card, and bank transfer. We no longer accept payment by cheque.
Cheques handed to the driver on the night will not be accepted and the journey will not commence until cash payment is made.
Consumption of Alcohol by Underage Passengers
Regardless of whether a parent has supplied alcohol to their child or not, all alcohol in the possession of those we suspect to be under the age of 18 will be confiscated by the driver unless proof of age can be shown.
If the underage drinker refuses to give up their alcohol, ‘Oakley’s’ reserves the right to end the journey immediately and NO refund will be given.
‘Oakley’s’ asks that passengers remain in a fit state to travel and do not consume excessive amounts of alcohol prior to or during your hire. This is due to your own safety being compromised.
Weather and Traffic Conditions
‘Oakley’s’ accepts no responsibility for adverse weather conditions (snow, flooding etc) which may cause delay or cancellation of the journey by ‘Oakley’s’.
In the event of cancellation by ‘Oakley's’ due to weather conditions, you will have the opportunity to move your booking to a new date, or a credit note will be given to you to use at a later date.
‘Oakley’s’ accept no responsibility for missed connections, functions, or consequential loss, however caused.
Every effort is made to ensure your party bus is well-maintained, but breakdowns can still occur.
Refunds for breakdowns will be calculated on a sliding scale, which will account for how much of the journey occurred prior to the breakdown.
Example: if the journey was 75% completed prior to the breakdown, a 25% refund will be given.
If we are unable to finish the journey due to a breakdown, and the journey was less than 75% complete, we will offer you a complimentary journey in the original party bus at a later date.
‘Oakley’s’ reserves the right to charge you £25.00 for any extraordinary interior cleaning of the party bus caused by confetti, party poppers/favours, tinsel etc.
‘Oakley’s’ also reserves the right to charge a £25.00 cleaning fee for tracking mud, debris etc into the party bus.
Excessive spillage of beverages by passengers will be charged at £25.00.
Breakage of any lighting or fitments by your party will be charged at £50.00 per breakage.
Damage to any seating by your party will be charged at £100.00 per tear/hole.
Passengers who are sick inside of or from the party bus will be charged at £50.00 for interior/exterior cleaning of the party bus.
Failure to pay extraordinary charges may result in court proceedings for which an additional £50.00 or 10% of the amount outstanding (whichever is greater) will be added to your account.
Smoking and the consumption of food are not permitted in ‘Oakley’s’ party buses under any circumstances.
Passengers are permitted to bring their own alcohol onto the party buses by prior arrangement with the company.
‘Oakley’s’ cannot accept any responsibility for the loss or damage to any items left on or carried in the party bus by passengers.
Any damage caused to the party bus, or equipment inside or outside, must be paid for by the person hiring the party bus.
‘Oakley’s’ cannot accept responsibility for any injuries caused by passengers walking around or dancing on the dance poles when the vehicle is in motion. Passengers should remain seated when the vehicle is moving.
Please note: strobe/laser lighting and a smoke machine are installed on the vehicle. It is the hirer’s responsibility to inform all guests and advise ‘Oakley’s’ of passengers likely to be affected.
When signing the booking form, you are signing to accept the terms and conditions of hire. It is the hirer’s responsibility to inform all guests of the terms and conditions of hire.
